Deadline for Paper Submissions is April 1, 2019
The 89th Annual Meeting of the Southern Economic Association® will be held in Fort Lauderdale, FL at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa, November 23-25, 2019 (Saturday to Monday).
Abstract and paper submissions should be submitted online at the SEA 2019 Conference page beginning January 2019. Participants unable to submit online may contact the SEA Office at email@example.com for assistance. The SEA charges a $35 submission fee for all conference submissions. Only one submission fee is necessary for each single abstract submitted (even if there are multiple authors). All submissions and fees should be received no later than April 1, 2019. Additional instructions for submitting abstracts and making the associated payment may be viewed here. Submission fees may be paid via credit card or check and are nonrefundable. SEA policy waives SUBMISSION FEES for papers submitted as part of a COMPLETE session proposal. If you wish to submit an entire session, please complete the SEA 2019 Session Submission Form (Please note that you will need to download the form to activate the fillable fields) and submit it to President-Elect and Program Chair, W. Kip Viscusi, at firstname.lastname@example.org. NOTE: Please try to avoid being on more than three sessions because of the potential problem of time conflicts.
Individually submitted abstracts will be reviewed by a Program Planning Board composed of members of the SEA Board of Trustees. Acceptance notifications will be emailed by mid-June. Questions may be directed to President-Elect, W. Kip Viscusi, at email@example.com or (615) 875-9062.
The SEA views service as a chair or discussant to be a normal professional responsibility, and assumes that persons presenting papers at the SEA meetings will serve (if needed) for at least one other conference session. Unless you tell us otherwise, we will assume that you are willing to undertake this responsibility. However, if you are unable or unwilling to serve in this capacity, please email President-Elect, W.
